Lucy's MS surgery

Donation protected
Hi my name is Lisa and I'm trying to raise money for my cousin Lucy Cupitt.
Lucy was diagnosed first with Pudendal Neuralgia and Endometriosis in early 2014 after seeing many doctors and numerous hospital visits. Her Pain became so bad that she had to drop out of University. The struggle became too much and slowly came the depression at a young age of 18.
Lucy underwent many surgeries to help with the pain, all with no success. Not long after this we lost our Aunty to Pancreatic Cancer , even with Lucy feeling so down she picked herself up and single-handedly put together a fundraising night in honour of our Aunty , to which just over $7,000 was raised for Pancreatic research.
a few weeks later Lucy was noticing more symptoms , the main one being a strange feeling in her legs like they weren't working well.
Tricie ( Lucy's mum ) who is diagnosed with MS saw the signs and felt in her heart that her little girl may also be a sufferer. Later in 2014 it was confirmed that Lucy also has MS. More surgeries were to follow to help slow down the progression and pain that these diseases combined were causing. Eight surgeries later and still no relief. The strain it was putting on her mum who cared for her around the clock  slowly became enough and her MS was slowly rearing its ugly head but they fought through it and got things back on track for Tricie.
In 2015 Lucy and 16 family and friends completed the MS walk and fun run and raised over$9,000 for MS.
On the 5th of March Lucy is booked in to have a trial surgery called "spinal cord stimulation" . The trial will last 10 days ,  A device will be surgically placed under her skin to send a mild electric current to her spinal cord, the wound will be left open for 10 days while she trials it and will be completley bed ridden the whole time and not allowed to bath. If it works she will then need further surgery to fix it in place and close her up, she then will be out of action for the next 4-8 weeks. This trial is her last hope , after this there is nothing.
The bill for this surgery will be approx $48,000 and it's money that they just dont have and thats why I'm asking for your help, every dollar counts. After all the good that Lucy has done for others we're hoping it'll come back to her.
Thankyou
