Officer Robert Bridges shot in the line of duty

Officer Robert Bridges, a Greene County Park Ranger and commissioned law enforcement officer with 17+ years experience, was shot in the line of duty while responding to an emergency call in support of the Springfield Police Department on the night of November 11, 2021. He was shot 5 times and has injuries to his torso, both arms and a leg. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
