The Butler Family

Thank you for taking the time to visit and donate. My name is Danielle, and I’m Angela Butler’s youngest sister. Our siblings and I have decided to create this GoFundMe campaign in efforts to ease the financial burden for our sister and her four children after the passing of her husband and their father, Kenny Butler.

Kenny was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia and succumbed to this horrific disease on April 12, 2023.

Kenny and Angela were married for over 20 years, and have four beautiful and incredibly smart children together. Kenny was one of the most intelligent people to behold, and it is no shock that his children are carrying on his legacy. His passion was his faith and his family.

As many of you may know, our sister has kept the struggles and tribulations that have impacted her, as well as our nephews and nieces, as private as possible. Angela has always been the first to offer help and acts of service to others in need, while selflessly enduring through her own. As news of Kenny’s passing has slowly spread, the abundance of outreach our family has received is humbling and heartwarming. Because of this, we have asked Angela if she will allow us to organize this campaign on behalf of her and her children.

Angela works and resides with her two younger daughters in Kansas City while her older sons are going to college full time in Missouri and Iowa. Kenny will be laid to rest next to his loving mother in Reno Nevada. As you can imagine the cost of 5 mid country airfare tickets heading west is not cheap for a working widowed mother of four. This combined with the ever revolving prayer that the Lord will provide a means to the many financial worries that accompany raising and supporting four children is why we have started this campaign. We know many family, friends, and church members are eager to return the support and service that Angela has given to them. While giving financially may not be within everyone’s ability, we ask that you keep Angela and her children in your thoughts and prayers as they each try to navigate through their grief.
