Please help me get treatment

My friends, many of you know about my long battle for the past 11 years. Here is the short of it. In 2011, I had gastric bypass surgery recommended by my psychiatrist to help me improve my mental health and functioning in society. Due to the way the surgery was performed, it caused my health to fail completely! I was tube fed for 24 months, I became 32 kg. (75 lbs.) and for the following six years I was not able to eat and/or absorb any nutrients.

At 28 years old, I had endured many years of tremendous pain, lack of nutrition, social isolation and constant hospitalization. In 2016 to the recommendation of my doctor, my parents decided to take me to the US to receive medical treatment that was not available in Greece. By the grace of God, I found the only doctor who performs reversal and reconstructive surgeries, in the Chicago area.

Although, the surgery was successful, the doctor found irreparable and irreversible damage. I need to be on medication for the rest of my life in order to live. Unfortunately, the medication is not available in Greece. Due to the pandemic and the world shutting down, I have not been on medication for the past 14 months. I live in constant pain, I’m not able to rest at night, and I’m in the hospital two to three times a month, due to obstruction of intestines, with unbearable pain. As a result, I cannot hold a permanent job, because of my unstable physical condition.

Now, I ask you all for help! I need to go to the States for a prolonged period of time, to see my surgeon for follow up tests and to buy the medication. I need approximately $9,500 to cover all expenses.
