Allie Dever nominated for Young Leaders Conference

My daughter, Allie Dever, was nominated for the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. by a teacher who sees great potential in Allie's future. While I am incredibly grateful and confident that this would be an amazing experience for Allie's growth and leadership skills, I am afraid our family can not afford to make this trip.

Allie lives at home with her dad and me, and her two sisters; older sister Lauren and younger sister Bryn. I teach my girls to be a part of our community, be helpful and kind, and make a difference whenever they are presented with an opportunity to do so. This conference is exciting because I believe it encompasses on a larger scale, what I teach my girls on a day-to-day basis.

While Allie has a lot of supportive family members and family friends in her life, we do not have anyone that could help out financially. Allie is deserving of this opportunity and I would love it if she could have this once-in-a-lifetime experience. I know it would benefit her confidence, and leadership skills, and continue her growth into being a better human on this planet.

 I know in my heart, Allie is someone that will take all she can absorb from this conference!
