I'm Heather Tokas, and I am also a commercial butterfly breeder. I'm a stage 4 cancer patient and I need funds to go to Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
The day before Thanksgiving I had my right breast (as opposed to the wrong one hehe) and lymph nodes under my right arm biopsied. Both came back positive for cancer. And in addition also positive for an UNKNOWN pathogen (which is still unknown. .. I may get a new disease named after me, who knows!) After that came PETscan. That lovely revealed lymph nodes on right side from neck to abdomen affected, two bones in my hip, spot on liver & 5th vertebra of my spine. Stage 4. So, the good news is there is a particular chemo drug that works successfully with the particular cx I have. I'm gonna be okay and pull through this, I just know it. Especially with a support team like you and the vast angles of plan of care. There are many more caterpillars to feed and butterflies to enjoy and future grandchildren to love!
I'm going to be honest and say I'm scared and tired of all this shenanigans. I've had too many complications and I can't pay my bills cause I cant work. I need resources right now so that I can make the journey to Moffitt.

I am grateful for this mysterious enemy who attacks my body because the mountain of joy welling up in my soul spilling out my eyes right now from all your love is truly a heavenly realm here on earth! ! If you can see it from my point of view, there is no room for sadness and peace prevails forever!
