Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment

*Update* Mikey has gone through most of his first round of treatments!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful community who love and support Mikey as much as we do. The doctor at Oxygen Therapy would like him to have 20 more treatments. They would like Savannah and Mike to monitor his progress and see what changes he is making with the help of the therapy. We are adjusting the goal to incorporate the additional 20 sessions. They are giving them a discount in order to be able to get Mikey the additional sessions. We are so thankful to everyone who has donated, who has supported our family, and prayed along side us.

Some of you may remember on January 14, 2022, my grandson Mikey nearly drowned in a horrific and preventable accident. Since then Mikey has made some significant gains. He stayed at Children's Hospital in Seattle for 3 months. His mom Savannah, and his dad Mike stayed by his side 24/7. Since he was released at the end of March, it has been a series of physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Not to mention the countless appointments at Children's Hospital to have his Baclofen pump either filled, decreased, or increased. Mikey still has an uphill battle ahead of him. He cannot walk, talk, eat independently, or move without assistance. We have been told about the hyperbaric chamber and how it has shown improvement in cases of traumatic brain injuries. Today Savannah and I met with the doctors in Redmond and they agree that Mikey is a good candidate for this treatment. The downside is that insurance doesn't cover this type of treatment. Mikey is recommended to have 40 treatments to start, each treatment costs about $199. They recommend that he has treatment 4-5 days per week. Which is roughly $7,960 plus the cost of fuel to get back and forth from Arlington to Redmond. We are looking for some help to see that Mikey can get this treatment in hopes that it will improve his condition. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. We want the best for Mikey and his future!
