Help Baby Ben Get His Forever Home

Dear Community,

I am Serena, Ben's mother. Ben is 6 years old, a first grader in Oakland, CA. Ben loves to smile, laugh, catch lots of fish and ride his bike. Ben was recently featured  on ABC 7 News-- describing how he is homeless and dreams of his forever home. 

Our family is homeless and on Tuesday, August 20, we were evicted from a public park in Oakland where we had been living in our non-operable RV for more than a year. Although my husband and Ben's father works, we cannot afford the high rent and cost of living. We have tried to get support from housing programs, but to no avail. 

We are asking the community to help provide a better life for Baby Ben and his sister and a more hopeful future for our family.

Funds raised from this campaign will:

1) Meet immediate needs to fix our family's RV so we can move to a safer location off the dangerous streets.
2) Help us secure permanent housing.
3) College fund for Ben and his sister.
