The Jean Family

Odile has an amazing husband and two wonderful daughters. Her husband, Francis Jean, has been facing an incredibly challenging and painful journey for the last six months.

The recent update concerning Francis's journey:

Francis has been diagnosed with Bulgar Onset ALS, on top of battling prostate cancer. Due to his weight loss, He is constantly battling infections which sometimes turn into pneumonia. Francis is still using a trach and continues to rely on a ventilator to breathe. He remains dependent on tub feeding for nourishment. Due to Francis's critical state, he still requires prolonged hospital stays, ongoing treatments, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and medications to save his life. The costs associated with his health issues are challenging to manage while also taking care of our family's basic needs.
