Josh's Beating Cancer Fund
Donation protected
Just about two months ago now, my best friend Angelica took her boyfriend Josh of 7 years to the doctor for pain in his abdomen and back thinking the issue was something that could easily be fixed. Within an hour, their entire world was flipped upside down and the word cancer entered their worlds. Within one week, Josh was in surgery to have his cancerous tumor removed and begin this journey to recovery.
Josh and Angelica have twin 5 year old girls. Josh is not only an amazing father and boyfriend, but he is the provider for his family working two jobs to ensure a good life and future for his girls, who are by the way, his entire world.
Unfortunately, the surgery left him unable to work either of his jobs for weeks, during which time doctors performed tests to determine the type of cancer and how far it had progressed. After meeting with the oncologist it was determined that although the prognosis was good and doctors believe that they were able to successfully remove the cancer and the cancer was in its very early stages, it was a very aggressive form of cancer that had begun to migrate. This meant that Josh would now have to undergo Chemo Therapy for two months to ensure that no cancer cells remained in the body.
Chemo has left Josh too weak to work and unable to fully provide for his family. In an effort to allow this family time to focus on getting well I would ask that everyone donate what they can in order to give this family the help they not only need but deserve.
I'm truly grateful for the love and support you are all extending during this time of need.
