GET MY MUM HOME

Hi, my name is Zoe and I am fundraising to help towards the cost of my Mums repatriation travel back into a hospital nearer home.

Here is our story,

Unfortunately my mum, which many of you may know her as ‘Tina’ had what you would only call the worst holiday tragedy that could happen to anyone.

My mum flew over for a holiday to Mallorca on the 21st September to visit my Auntie Michelle. The next morning mum collapsed in the shower and was shortly rushed to hospital. Later that day we found out that she had a brain aneurysm (subarachnoid haemorrhage) a type of bleed on the brain. Mum was then in a coma for 3 weeks with many ups and downs and the not knowing whether she would pull through this.

Mum fought every hurdle possible that kept coming her way and she proved to us what a strong woman she really is. After a long 3 weeks the doctors finally started to bring mum round from her coma.

We are now 7 weeks in and mum is now on the rehabilitation ward still in Mallorca. Mum still has a very long road ahead as she will need lots of physiotherapy to rebuild all the strength that she has lost.

At this point in time the doctors have now confirmed she is ready to fly home with medical assistance.

Unfortunately mum does not have travel insurance for repatriation travel which she needs to get home safely.

Any donations will be GREATLY received towards helping with these costs.

Any extra funds will go to charity.
