Car Accident Tragedy

My 4-year old goddaughter and her mother, Tiarra, were involved in a terrible car accident just before Christmas. Thankfully, Kennedeigh was in her car seat and not injured. However, Tiarra was not as lucky. We know that God has a plan, but the elderly man who failed to stop and ran into them left them in a bad situation.

Tiarra has been a Correctional Officer since 2017. Over the past several years, Tiarra has been required to work overtime and extra shifts which have taken time away from her family. After much prayer and consideration, Tiarra had decided to pursue a different career. She had just resigned with her 2 weeks notice from the Department of Corrections prior to the accident.

Having responsibility, Tiarra had a new job lined up to start the Friday after she was done at DOC.

Tiarra's left forearm was "shattered" according to the orthopedic Doctor. Tiarra was required to be in the hospital for several days and required 9 plates to surgically repair her left forearm. She is facing many more months of a cast and rehab, and still is not intact neurological.
