Lynn's Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Emma Nordmeyer. I'm starting this page to help raise money for my best friend of 39 years.

In January Lynn went to the ER with massive abdominal pain. After a CT scan and ultrasound she was told she had a cyst rupture on her ovary. She was sent home and told to rest and everything would feel better in a few days. After weeks of not feeling any relief she went back to the doctor for another CT scan and ultrasound and this time they found a mass behind her uterus. She also found out that those mass had its own blood supply and therefore was referred to an oncologist due to having pre cancerous cells.

After her visit with thr oncologist and one again more testing she learned that this mass has attached itself to both her ovaries and possibly her bladder. The medical term for what is going on is edometrioma. Monday June 5th Lynn is scheduled for surgery to have a full hysterectomy and possible bladder reconstruction. Once they remove the mass they will send it off for testing to find out if it is in fact cancer.

With all the doctor visits and extensive testing, my dear friend has huge amounts of medical bills piling up due to having no insurance. She has applied for several different insurances and keeps getting denied as they consider this a pre existing condition. She is also going to be out of work for 6 to 8 weeks recovering from surgery.

Anyone who knows Lynn knows she would give the shirt off her back to help a stranger. She has touched the hearts of everyone around her weather it's her lending ear, her shoulder to cry on, her infectious laugh or just her presence next to you.

I'm asking for help to get her thru all with with a little less financial worry so she can focus on healing. Every will bit will help.
