Wanda's Angel Fund

For the past six years, my mother has been fighting a battle against her own body. She has been diagnosed with multiple health issues including pernicous and hemolytic anemia, common variable immune deficiency disorder, and B12 deficiency. She has undergone several different surgeries as her body has worked against her.  Her most recent diagnosis of nodular marginal lymphoma has had the biggest impact on her "normal" life. She now spends her time in and out of the hospital and Pearson Cancer center for her treatments. In addition to those, she also has to self-administer immunoglobulin treatment every other weekend in order to keep her body strong enough to endure her everyday routine. Most of her days are spent exausted and drained, leaving her with just enough energy to hold her head up; and that she does with grace. She refuses to let this keep her from going to work everyday nomatter how she feels. She has never said a negative word and fights through the nausea, pain, and agony her body now feels at all times.  The bills she has incurred throughout this entire process are overwhelming and she is only in the beginning stages of treatment. My mother has always been a selfless person, always thinking about what she can do for others. She has always been by my side and the side of whomever may need her. Now through this fund we are given a chance to give back a portion of the love and kindness she has shown us. We've had so many people ask what they can do to help-donating would be the biggest way to help her get through this. The reality is there will come a time when she is unable to work and may not be able to manage the medical and household bills. We have started this fund in hopes that she will have to worry less about the ever-growing financial burdens and focus primarily on healing.
