Sybil Renee Smith 4/12/61 - 1/28/23
loving grandmother, mother, friend & nurse.
Renee hated funerals. She said “she didn’t want one because people had better things to do than sit around and cry over her dead body.”
but lf you would like to donate to her cremation in Lieu of Flowers that would be much appreciated since she lost all of her benefits due to this disease along with her home and car trying to pay copays. She was tough as hell. She hide how sick she was to save her daughter from worrying, And after how hard she worked in her life, she deserved an easy trip. I think she knew exactly what she was doing.
We know she is in a better place know with her late son Seth Smith. Who she grieved herself over everyday. Just pray for peace for her grandbabies and her only daughter Sydney Palmer (Smith)

“I just visited with a good friend who I worked with at Renaissance Terrace Community Living Center in Harriman managed by Community Eldercare Services or CES out of Tupelo, MS. I tell you that so I can give credit where credit is due. You see my friend has lung cancer with bone Mets. She was getting chemotherapy and that was indeed her only hope for survival! She is now on Hospice care not because the chemo failed or because she wanted to quit her chemo therapy but because when you work for CES, you must work full time to keep your insurance. My sweet friend has not had chemo since September and now it is too late. Why did her chemotherapy end? Because CES removed her from full time status so she lost her insurance. You see, she was too sick to work full time. Most companies would take into consideration why someone is unable to work full time and have some compassion for their employee of many years but not CES! Now we will never know if she would have survived this horrible disease because CES took away her only chance to survive! Shame on you Community Eldercare Services!” -Carolyn Francis
