Marissa Akers, a 19 year old first-year volleyball player at Knox College, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma the week before Christmas 2016. She is a strong and determined young lady battling her illness while continuing her education. We are setting up this account for those who are willing and able to assist with some of the additional expenses the family is incurring outside of medical bills such as travel, prescription copays, OTC meds, additional medical supplies, and nutritional supplements.
