Remembering Jessie

Jessica Louise Melgar is a light in all of the many, many lives she touched. She always made a point to make you feel important, and cared about every person she met. This page is being made in efforts to help her brother Dave Melgar and mother Eileen Sweeney pay for the expenses of funeral and burial services. Eileen is a cancer survivor and Jessica stopped at nothing to support and care for her mother while she was sick and also in remission. Jessica was dedicated, to everything she did. She was a local paramedic, a first responder for the Grand Island fire department, as well as a part time medical student. Please consider helping us lay her to rest, and put ease on her family in this trying time.
