We're now partnering with Frontline Foods to accept tax-exempt donations. 100% of the proceeds will be invested in Philadelphia: https://www.frontlinefoods.org/philadelphia/

Also check out our friends at #SavePhillyEats who have launched some cool restaurant experiences: https://savephillyeats.com/

100% of the money is used to buy food from local restaurants who are reeling from the coronavirus while feeding our healthcare workers on the front-lines battling this pandemic.

We donate $500-1,000 per meal to feed 50-100 hospital workers. Each day I withdraw the money and buy from local restaurants to feed workers in our local hospital. Every dollar spent is accounted for by Fuel the Fight movement to do good in the Philadelphia community.

We are providing food to nurses from local Philadelphia hospitals including Temple, CHOP, HUP, Pennsylvania, Jefferson, Bryn Mawr, Paoli, Riddle, Christiana, and Chestnut Hill.

The human spirit is truly amazing. Earlier this week, New York asked for retired and private practice doctors to volunteer as the system was experiencing a stress test like never before. Within the hour, over 1000 nurses and doctors had volunteered, many of them retirees, putting them smack in the middle of the danger zone. The definition of heroism is happening right before our eyes.

Make no mistake, we are at War with an invisible enemy. We as a People, not a country, but a People must come together in times like these if we’re going to prevail. And that starts with doing our individual part.

While many of us are working from home, worrying about our 401k’s or if Netflix will run out of original content by the time things can go back to normal, many people are wondering where their next meal will come from, if there will be a hospital bed for them if they get sick, or how they’re going to survive without being able to work for an indeterminate amount of time.

It’s our duty to help protect these people in times of need. It’s the human thing to do.

We’ve seen many headlines this week of different athletes, celebrities, businesspeople and others stepping up and helping to feed families, school children, arena workers, etc. and it’s that positive energy and human spirit we need to continue to push forward.

We were thinking of how we could step up and after watching an incredible video going viral of a group of apartments surrounding a hospital applauding and cheering as the Doctors and Nurses finished their shift, we came up with a plan.

We wanted to highlight our Healthcare workers who are on the front lines right now. Overworked, understaffed, separated from loved ones, exhausted and hungry, these warriors are fighting every hour of every day to save our loved ones and keep the rest of us safe.

So while you may not have a million dollars to donate, you’re likely asking yourself “How can I help?”

Here’s what we’re doing:
1. We’re partnering with local restaurants that are struggling to survive and providing local hospitals with catered meals for all of their healthcare workers.
2. We’re creating a gofundme to raise money to support these heroes during this incredibly difficult time, 100% of donations will be used to feed our healthcare heroes
3. Depending on the money we raise we will provide as many meals to Philadelphia-area hospitals as we can and will roll-out in new cities if there is enough money.

Here’s how you can help:
1. Whether it’s $1 or $1,000,000 dollars, it doesn’t matter. Anything helps.
2. Do your part and stay inside. This isn’t a joke, it’s not a drill, it’s the most serious global crisis that has ever happened to any human being alive today, don’t take it lightly.

Thank you for your consideration and support!
