Help Kitty Get the Care He Deserves

Hello,
My name is Jeanette and I am Kitty's guardian, or his Mommy. He was found when he was just a small kitten (he could fit in my hands!) 12 years ago. It being close to Halloween and as he's a black cat, I was afraid to turn him into the shelter. So he's been with me ever since. He's a good cat, very talkative and lively and he is my best friend. Two years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 3B Endometrial cancer. Kitty was by my side throughout the entirety of my treatment. He helped me through some of the worst days of my life. He gave me a reason to keep going every day. I will always be grateful for his loving nature. Recently, Kitty has been losing weight. He was always small, but I can feel his spine and hip bones when I pet him. He has an increased appetite and drinks a lot more. He also uses the litter box more frequently. Yesterday (Jan. 24, 2025), I brought him to the vet. On his initial exam, the doctor stated that he might have hyperthyroidism and also needs some extensive dental care. Just to get the blood testing done was unaffordable to me at this moment. I'm still trying to financially recover from having these bills from my treatments. The testing and after care is very important to me. While my cat is a senior, I would like to have him around for as long as possible. Thank you for reading and for helping with Kitty's care!
