Addison - surgery fund

Hey everyone! 
Name is Addison,
I’m a transgender woman living and working in Canada .
I came out as transgender just over 3 years ago. In that time I have accomplished a lot of things.

I have received my permanent residency in Canada.
I have started HRT here in Canada.
I have helped start an LGBTQ2I+ group called the Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Alliance- WBMA, in Whistler.

I’ve legally changed my name which has been a long and annoying process as I’ve had to do it two countries. 

Having struggled with my own depression and anxiety for years I was left with 3 options - keep lying to myself and others - come out and be the person I am - kill myself. 

I chose to come out and it’s the best choice I’ve ever made. My life now is full of hope and joy and I surround myself with people that love and respect me as much I do them. Rather than trying to fit into the worlds ideas of how a person should be their authentic selves.

To that end I have started this go fund me to help me pay for facial feminization surgery and vocal feminization surgery, possibly more. Which is not covered by government policies here (Canada) or in the US or New Zealand as it counts as plastic and not medical surgery. 

Right now I’m looking for help to fund the cost of a tracheal shave and vocal surgery to change the pitch of my voice as these are huge triggers for me and cause me a lot of internal struggle and anxiety. Anything you wonderful people could contribute would be hugely appreciated as I will never be able to fund this or any other facial feminization surgery myself until laws and policies are changed. 

I’ve been stuck looking and sounding a certain way for 27 years and I can’t do it anymore. Please help my dreams come true.
