Alma Rodriguez

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my friend of 19 years, Alma Rodriguez, on 07/03/2023 has lost her battle to a rare terminal cancer, Leiomyosarcoma. Alma is a mother of two beautiful girls, Eveny 29 and Victoria 15 who she adores.

Alma was diagnosed with cervical cancer, went through radiation and chemotherapy and was able to fight the cancer in 2014.

Alma was cancer free until late March 2023, when she was given the bad news that the cancer had returned. Alma has been in and out of the hospital for the past 3 months. For the last 3 weeks she has been fighting this cancer with the help of a team of 7 providers and 4 rounds of chemotherapy. However, this cancer has spread rapidly and aggressively despite the treatments she has received.

Alma has been keeping her faith and wanting to fight but the cancer has progressed to its final stages. Alma has chosen to be released home to spend her final time surrounded by family and loved ones.
