Hurricane damage relief for 2 Cape Coral Families

Hi, my name is Shelli and I live in Baltimore but I lived most of my life I. Florida. I’m fundraising for 2 families in Cape Coral Florida (where the eye of hurricane Ian hit directly).

They’re sad and in shock and trying to figure out how they’re going to recover from all the damage to their homes/property.

I can’t take away the emotional impact (and it’s clearly huge), but hopefully together, we can help a bit with their very real financial worries right now.

My friend Bill has worked with trauma survivors in the mental health field for decades and decades. He is truly one of the kindest most giving people I’ve ever met. And he has literally helped thousands of people rebuild their lives.

His home and his daughters nearby home were significantly damaged by the water and winds (has insurance but a 10,000 deductible). They're also unable to work for now -- have been told it could take weeks before they have water; up to a month for power to be restored.

If all of us give even just a little I know we can help him and his family a lot....even if it just lets them know they're not alone in this really hard time.
