Xyrenn's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
On July 31, 2019 our loving nephew Xyrenn-Micah Caspino was unexpectedly taken from us.
He was born prematurely at 26 weeks on June 10, 2018. Since then, he has been constantly fighting for his life in and out of the NICU, PICU & CARTER UNIT at Kapiolani hospital. He has suffered multiple complications and continuously fought for his everyday life. After 4 months of being in the NICU, he was finally able to come home. A month later, he was hospitalized again because he had stopped breathing and needed CPR for 20 minutes.
He ended up going into a coma for 8 days, which lead him to have massive brain damage, limited mobility and required him to eat only though a feeding tube. Over the next months, he started to make improvements in his condition. A few weeks after Xyrenn’s 1st birthday, he returned to the hospital due to not tolerating his feeding.
On the night of July 30th, his mother Chayna returned to Kapiolani after visiting her father in a different hospital. Only to find him once again, unresponsive in the hospital's care. Immediately the nurses began to perform CPR for 30 minutes. By then, the damage was more severe and intense. Xyrenn was at the point of no return and was on life support. Family and friends gathered late that evening to say their last goodbyes. On July 31st, 2019 @ 2:46AM, he took his last breath in his mother’s arms.
This fund has been created to assist in funeral arrangements for baby Xyrenn. Any amount of donation is appreciated and will help tremendously.
