In 2023 Phil was offered a trial ride in the Canadian Superbike National Series (CSBK), he finished 5th in both Superbike and Sportbike classes in his first race weekend at this level. After this initial success Phil continued the season as the youngest rider on the grid to finish second in the CSBK National Amateur Superbike Championship and fourth in the National Amateur Sportbike Championship ensuring a promotion to the National Professional class for 2024. The 2024 season was a tough challenge on a ten year old home prepared bike racing against the best in Canada but Phil did well enough in his rookie year to garner the attention of two teams; Taylor racing will be providing Phil with a Ducati V2, a much more competitive package to take on the challenge on beating the established pros in the Sportbike class, additionally on the basis of his 2024 results Motts Engineering offered Phil a seat on their Honda CBR1000 Fireblade to support his rookie year as a Superbike racer. This means a very busy year for Phil who, at just 17 years old will be competing at the top level in the two top classes in Canadian Road Racing. Whilst we have the cost of bikes covered we will need help in covering the not inconsiderable costs of travel, training, fuel, safety equipment and tires.
