CAre for India: Fundraiser by SA Students @Queen's
Donation protected
India is experiencing the worst throes of the global pandemic. People in the country have been forced to resort to mutual aid in the face of financial inequalities, vaccine apartheid and inadequate governmental policies. We are a group of South Asian students working with the International Students Working Group (ISWG) at Queen’s University in Canada aiming to raise funds for the grassroots work that is currently holding India together.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will help finance a number of vital resources including support for migrant workers, front-line cremation workers, mental health grief/trauma workers, and in funding medical equipment and oxygen cylinders for those in need.
