Surviving NICU life #Oliverstrong

Hello! My name is Christina, I am looking to raise money for my little sister Hailey bishop , her boyfriend Alex Miller & Their son, Oliver Miller. Alex & Hailey are a young lively couple that were expecting a baby boy ( Oliver) inSeptember 2023. In the beginning for what I would say had a fairly typical start to pregnancy up until 23 weeks and 4 days Hailey experienced some pain and went to be seen. Upon her arrival she was contracting and 1 cm dilated. Hailey had gone into Pre-term labor at 23 weeks and some change. She was transferred to Umass general where she then gave birth to Oliver at 24 weeks 0 days. Hailey is recovering from an emergency c section and Oliver is currently doing well in the NICU. With that being said and Oliver being born at 24 weeks he will be in the NICU for an extended period of time. In the mean time Alex is out of work and was the only one working to begin with as Hailey was getting her new pregnancy underway. We all know what comes with a long hospital stay as adults now imagine that on a baby the size of your hand essentially. Soon Alex and Hailey will no longer be in the hospital and able to be close to their baby boy, ( just over 2 hours away) and have more hospital bills than they could ever imagine. I say this with confidence because 3 years ago I myself had identical twins at 24 weeks & 5 days. My girls may not be with us on earth today but the impact they made on so many in such a short time made it so I knew I had to jump into action to help in ways I needed when I went through something similar. I pray everyday that god, the universe, protects my dear sweet nephew and his parents. As her older sister It absolutely rips me up inside to know what she’s going through. My heart and many other hearts are with this young family. Please continue to pray, to send positive thoughts, speak a healthy life for this boy into existence. Please share this, his story.
