Our beautiful mother paralysed abroad & stranded

Yesterday my sister and I recieved devastating news that our mum (Susan) has been paralyzed from the neck down whilst on holiday in Alanya, Turkey. This was due to a motorcycle accident. She was a passenger on a bike. The driver of the bike got out with minor injuries My mother has a broken neck and cannot move any of her body!

She is in intensive care with no one by her side but is being take care of to the best of the doctors abilities. This comes at an excruciating cost. She is currently awaiting transfer to a specialist hospital for an extremely important spinal operation. They are refusing to operate until the cost can be met and the thought of this is terrifying!

At the moment we are left in the dark as communication is limited. We know very little about her current state which is really unsettling.
We are also unsure of whether this operation needs to be carried out immediately and what risks they carry. We know don't know anything!
Our priority at the moment is flying over there to support her and praying to get her in for an operation asap.

All we know at the moment is the cost of a flight home for her is £30,000! 
If everyone can come together and help us this really gives our mum the best chance of a recovery. Although permanent paralysis is uncertain at least we can save her life!

Our mother is the backbone of our family and we will do anything to ensure she is safe! 

Once we are there and gather all the information we will keep you all updated with pictures, diagnosis and current situation.
