UPDATE: My husband went to the Dr for his followup, the Dr has released him to return to work and wants to followup in 1 month.
So far we have been able to defer a couple of payments, still waiting to hear back from the mortgage company on the deferral (forbearance) we have requested. The only bill we are unable to get a deferral is his Kenworth payment, the bank declined the request and the vehicles insurance.
I have reduced the request for assistance to $3000. The truck payment is $2283 (was due Sept 11th) and the insurance is $785 (is due Sept 21st).
I want to thank everyone who has donated, shared and prayed for us. It has helped and we are eternally grateful.

Hi, my name is Linda. I am asking for funds to help my husband and myself to keep our home during this difficult time. 9 years ago, my husband had bypass surgery and sold his motorcycle to pay bills. He has been in doing well until recently. He is an Owner Operator truck driver. Last year we had a few setbacks with his truck, engine rebuild, 2 deer strikes, a/c problems, and wet macular degeneration in his right eye, we have done ok to keep going. These things slowed us down, but didn't stop us.

At the beginning of this year he had a wrist injury, which required emergency surgery. That in itself was a challenge to pay the deductible, but the after the surgery was the real challenge. He was off work for 3 months, we cleaned out our savings, and maxed out our credit cards to keep from loosing our home, his truck and eat. He went back to work in April, we thought we could play catch up for the rest of the year and get back on our feet. But the increase in fuel prices while he is working has taken its toll on his checks and kept us from making real progress.
The credit cards increased the interest rates because we had to use so much to stay ahead, so we decided to consolidate them into Debt Consolidation program. This was going to make things a bit easier.

Then the unthinkable happened, he had a heart attack on Aug 22nd, this was the day before he was to receive his injection for wet macular degeneration . His cardiologist did a cardiac catherization and found his previous bypasses had failed and the narrowing and twisting of the arteries created a high risk with putting in stents. The cardiologist decided to call in another Dr to put in the stents, this Dr was experienced in this risky procedure. While he was waiting, he had 2 more mild heart attacks. His surgery was done on Aug 29th and the Dr felt it was good, but it would take time for him to recover. He has a follow up with the cardiologist and surgeon on Sept 11th, our hope it he will be released to go back to work.

We are asking for donations to help us pay our bills until he can get back to work and start getting regular checks again. I am asking for the minimum to pay for the Debt consolidation, truck payment, house payment and vehicle insurance. We need $7000 for it all, but if we can get $5000 we can manage ok.

I know this is a difficult time for everyone, and I have resisted asking for help, but we are at a point we have nothing else to draw on to help us get by till things level out. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated, and please share and maybe we can reach our goal.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and your kindness. I am sorry I have been forced to ask for assistance.
