In Soldiers Clothes

We are a team of filmmakers and actors wanting to create a new film inspired by the true story of 

Dorothy Lawrence, a journalist who disguised herself as a British soldier to report from the front line in WW1. Inspired by true events, our film will explore the truths and horrors of trench warfare through the eyes of our unsung heroine. 

Filming in a historically accurate purpose built trench with an incredible team, including Andrew Robertshaw as lead historian (1917, War Horse, Wonder Woman), this is a war film like no other. It explores a poignant time in British history with a woman at the centre of it. ​
