Farmer in need of help - 2019

Christmas Miracle Needed This farmer is in desperate need for a Christmas Miracle! Drago "Carl" Kucas has been part of his community since 1970's. He is one of the most hard working people this community knows. He works from sun up to sundown. This humble and proud man has a good "old fashioned" way of farming. It's actually quite charming in this day and age but, as you can imagine, it is a great deal more work. It doesn't take much to make Carl happy. He is different than others in that way. He only needs the necessities in life. He always has a smile and a laugh with people that have come to know him. He really just wants to farm and for people to leave him be what he is, a farmer. He never causes any problems for others or has a bad word to say about anyone. It is difficult for this community to watch him being bullied by a few people. Instead of helping him, they are trying to destroy him. He needs a community of heroes to step up and give him a helping hand. This is where he needs his miracle the most! The majority of Carl's direct neighbors have no problem with him living in the neighborhood. He was here before all of us! The community is worried about his well being. Although most people have no problems with Carl, there are a handful of people that are causing problems for him. These few individuals continually call Animal Services and Cat Rescues with complaints that the farmer is neglecting his animals. This is always found untrue. The Province appointed Veterinarians are continually checking up on all the animals including cats to see if they are in good health and they always are! Carl takes better care of his animals than himself. Stray cats that have taken up residence at the farm. Every farm needs cats to keep the mice and rat population at bay. Although they don't belong to Carl, he feeds them and cares for them. The cat rescues should be doing their own do-diligence to confirm or deny any complaints before they send a team of people to steal all these cats. All the accusations have been found untrue by authorities. If you want to research before you give, please do. The people being interviewed in the news clips are the only people picking on this poor man. They don't even live in close proximity to him. It is unclear what their motivation is to try and destroy him. The people that do speak up for him, do not get their story on the news. You will get the truth here. Carl says for as far back as he can remember, he has been bullied in some form or another. It shows a persons character that he still keeps treating others well, when he himself is being treated so poorly. We are not going to focus on the few people that are against him ... from here on we are going to focus on Carl. Lets show him that he does matter and he has just as much worth as every other person on earth. Here are some items that he needs: 1) Carl needs hay for his cattle. He harvests his own feed. Due to the dry weather this past season, there is a shortage in Hay. He only has enough to last to the end of December. This one is so vital! 2) Needs money to pay for unpaid taxes. He works so hard and only makes nine thousand dollars a year. He does all this farming without any help from others. He is proud and will not accept money from people that just show up at his place. 3) He is in need of money for 1) demolition of his current house and 2) for the building of a new house. He has a house plan for a 432 sq ft. pre-built house. His current house is very old and falling apart. It has been deemed unsafe for him to live. He has requested a permit to demolish his house. He is still living in this house because the City of Winnipeg hasn't given him a permit to build a new house yet. Please be a hero to this hard working man! If you can make a donation in any amount, it would go a long way in letting Carl know that he is loved. The only thing we ask is for you to please do not drive by and stare at his property. Imagine how you would feel if people did that to you. It would make anyone feel uneasy. Please don't drop off food to him, if he doesn't know you and trust you, it won't help him. Please leave that part to the people he trusts. Please do not leave disrespectful or rude comments! Only encouraging words welcome! If you want him to know you donated, please indicate that on your donation. If you want to be anonymous that is an option as well. We are stronger together! Thank You for doing your part in helping a person in great need! Your donation will go toward hay for cows first and foremost. *** The cows need hay by end of December. He will need 3 months worth. The cost is $20,000. Carl is waiting for the City of Winnipeg to provide a permit to build another house on the property then to demolish his current house. Update after City Workers showed up on farm: There is one less cow now because the City of Winnipeg send in bulldozers to "help" him, clean up the property. In the process they destroyed the pigs only shelter, drove over 2 piglets, threw away all his firewood and left one cow dead from "Stress". All this from City's workers driving all around the farmyard.
