Transmetatarsal Amputation

Hi everyone, I started this GoFundMe due to an unexpected hardship. On July 26, 2023, my husband Marcus was taken to the emergency room because breathing became painful for him. Upon arriving, he was immediately seen and admitted to the ICU for Acute Hyoxemic Respiratory Failure and had to be intubated. An infection got to his lungs. As if this was not scary enough, they then told us that Marcus has a leaky heart valve and an infection in his heart. He was then moved to CCU. He will have to have open heart surgery to replace his heart valve. 10 years ago, Marcus was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure and was put on dialysis 3-4x a week. He has been through a lot at just the age of 33. Unfortunately, I had just started a new job when all this happened and was not able to keep my position. Marcus will be out of work for some time and while I look for another job, if you find it in your heart to give or help us, it would be so greatly appreciated.  Marcus is a father of 2 and stepfather to 2.  Whether you are able to give or not, we ask that you please share.
