Kandersteg International Scout Centre Trip 2026

Alexander, Rupert and George are raising money to go towards Holmes Chapel Scout group's trip to Kandersteg International Scout Centre in 2026.

They are going as part of a group of 50 Scouts and Adults to camp in the Swiss Alps with scouts from all over the world, have once in a lifetime experiences, make friends and learn about theirselves, others and the world.

Holmes Chapel Scout Hut is 811 miles from the Kandersteg International Scout Centre, Each of the Cubs/Scouts have been challenged to hike as many miles over summer to cover “their part” of the return Journey. Alexander, Rupert and George are planning to do the hiking across a few different activities, hopefully including some full day mountain hikes!

They also have a side quest to cover 1139 metres of Elevation Gain (the difference between Holmes Chapel and Kandersteg) so the trails can’t be flat!
