Bring Back David's Smile

Hi, my name is Heather and I've set up this fundraiser for David Dapeer. You may know him as David, David The Page, Disjointed David or from The Spaceman Trilogy.

Two days ago David had a second incidence of losing consciousness and falling down. This time he lost a front tooth!

The doctors are still trying to work out the causes, and David will need an implant to replace his tooth!

David is a singer, musician, performer. This is how I met him; I came across him playing live on TikTok. His music and friendship has enriched my life, and I know many of you feel the same. If you know David, you know how kind he is, how he supports and helps everyone. You probably also know how he is more comfortable being a helper rather than asking for help.

That's where I come in. Folks, David needs to pay for some dental work and an implant. Singing and performing is his employment and currently he can't sing. He's struggling to talk. We don't know yet the timeline for recovery as they are still working on a diagnosis and treatment plan for him. But we do know the dental work needs to be done ASAP. Most of us have had to have dental work done and even the best insurance plans don't cover much. Teeth might be considered luxury bones, but for a musician they are especially essential.

People often wonder about giving to fundraisers. GoFundMe is certainly the most popular platform. They do charge a 2.9% + thirty cents per transaction fee. But the rest of all donations go directly to David. This is not considered taxable income but a gift. So you can be assured that your help goes directly to David.
