Iggy Needs Your Help!

Hi everyone! I've set up this fundraiser for my friends’ dog, Iggy Pup. As someone who's gone through their share of pet health problems, and had so much support to get through it, I can only try and do the same for someone else.

Iggy is a 7-year-old mixed breed who was adopted by Mel & Ian at the age of 3. He had a tough start to life, being raised in a crate because his original owner was too unwell to provide what was needed. As such, he was severely lacking in social skills, constantly scared of the world, and didn't receive much love.

Once rescued and adopted, it didn't take long for Mel to bring him out of his shell and quickly reverse much of the issues surrounding him. He is now one of the happiest and friendliest dogs around, always curious about meeting new friends, and getting more than enough attention from everyone around him. He sings when a harmonica gets played, loves kids, plays dressup, puts his toys back in a cabinet when done with them, and has been taught too many tricks to count.

Two weeks ago, Iggy was diagnosed with Osteo-Sarcoma (bone cancer) which is very aggressive and extremely painful. They found growths in his hind left leg, causing him immense pain and discomfort and giving him a prognosis of 2-4 months to live if amputation wasn’t done ASAP. The quick decision was made to amputate the leg. He has been recovering from the emergency surgery since Wednesday, June 14th.

The chance of Osteo-Sarcoma metastasizing is still higher than anyone would like. His owners, Ian & Mel, have immediately dove into researching and purchasing supplements & FECO to help reduce those chances as well as uprooting his diet. They are also planning two trips down to Seattle to take part in a clinical study conducted by Yale University for the EGFR/HER2 vaccine, which has produced amazing results for dogs struggling with cancer.

The costs are quickly accumulating and they could use your help to mitigate the stresses that come with keeping the dog they love so dearly, alive and healthy. Please help keep one of the best around!
