Celebration of Life for Bernie Acs
Donation protected
My father-in-law, Bernhard Acs was a constant source of inspiration through the entire time I knew him. He treated me like his own son, and taught all his children to empathize, treat others fairly, and to be honest. Family was the most important part of life for him. He was a kind soul, who moved mountains to make the impossible become reality. He was always able to bring people together, always looking to make new connections and keep old ties too.

In April of 2018, Bernie was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. Although doctors held a cautious prognosis, Bernie continued to fight and seek treatment. He maintained a positive outlook and continued to live as normal a life he could. Unfortunately, due to complications with his illness, he passed away in the early morning of May 22nd. He spent the days prior to his passing surrounded by the family that he kept connected. We cherish the time that we had with him and will continue to live by the lessons he taught.

He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, and his three children. With various hospital stays and treatments during the last month, donations will go towards the medical bills and a memorial service/celebration of his life open to family and friends. Every donation is greatly appreciated, every little bit helps. Any excess money will go towards supporting his family during this difficult time.
