Skydive for Dad

As the majority of you will know, I lost my incredible Dad very suddenly and unexpectedly in August 2024.

I first knew of his heart problems when he had life changing surgery to have a heart valve replacement in 2009. I was too young to understand the seriousness of the operation but it was successful and therefore not a worry. In 2013 I watched him suffer a severe heart attack, it was only because of the air ambulances quick response and care he received in Hospital that he came home and started his road to recovery. This involved lots of trips to rehab that I used to go to with him (I was just there for the mini trampolines)

On Sunday the 4th of August I received the worst call of my life. My Dad had passed and my life has changed forever. The heart is a complicated and fragile organ, and more research must be done.

In his memory I would like to try and raise as much money as possible by doing a sky dive! I don’t have a date yet but I can’t back out now!! Once I am settled in Perth I will be booking a date.

My goal is to raise as much money as possible, but regardless of the end figure it will help. I never want any family to go through what we have, so my hope is that through raising money for such a worthy charity, this heart shattering pain can be avoided for someone else❤️‍
