Kristin Wornson

In May 2020, Kristin Wornson was diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer. From the start, her healing journey has taught her many things about health and healing, as well about herself and what is truly important to her. Like a proverbial ‘sponge’, she has been on a constant path of absorbing as much research and information about cancer as she can. She’s also been exploring and educating herself on the often-contradictory and constantly-confusing options and next steps towards healing her particular type of cancer, what pitfalls to avoid, and what path forward feels like the right one for her.

She has assembled a varied team of specialists, and developed an elaborate and complicated healing regiment, which she sticks to unfailingly.

Many of the ‘functional medicine’ approaches and protocols that she believes strongly in are outside the conventional “standard of care”; and therefore are not covered by her insurance.
