Fundraiser For Musician John Vanderpool

This fundraiser is for musician John Vanderpool is going through a difficult time. John Vanderpool and I managed the band The Heavy Metal Horns for 12 years. A talented saxophone player who's been a part of the Boston music scene for 5 decades. John was the original member of Bruce Marshall and The Clue, a founding member and manager of the Heavy Metal Horns. John has recorded and performed with the I-Tones, did a world tour with Extreme with the Heavy Metal Horns as their horn section, Jiggle The Handle to name a few. Recently he's performed with Anthony Geraci Blues Band. John is a first-call sideman for shows and recording sessions.

John is suffering from complications of chronic insomnia for 8 months. This aliment has left him unable to teach, perform, maintain his home and stay current with his bills. John has a close group of friends looking after him at this time. The funds will be sent to a Salem Five account I have set up. These funds will be transferred to John's bank account to be used when needed.

Close friends and fellow musicians have taken him in and are looking after him as he is seeking treatment. As we all know there are no such things as benefits when you're in the rock n' roll business. John doesn't have a 401K, insurance or a nest egg he can tap into. We are reaching out to the music community and beyond to help John get back on his feet. Close friends are working to update his home for his return. We are asking for help to fund his medical care to recover from these debilitating insomnia complications. John has performed for many fundraisers throughout his musical career.
