Steve's Medical Bills

Hello,

I made this fundraiser for my father. May 2019 he went into septic shock from an injury that was misdiagnosed and mistreated during the year prior. After pulling through liver failure, kidney failure, sepsis, dialysis, loss of muscle, he came home. The wound never fully healed, and we trusted our medical team to guide us in the right direction. Fast forward, he misses my college graduation due to an emergency surgery - the original wound was infected again. Fast forward a year later, his job fires him a week before Christmas. That same week, a promising procedure did not end well. The site became green and infected with holes all throughout my father's deformed foot. We had enough and went to a different ER and made a team of different doctors. These doctors were flabbergasted with how his foot looked and we then learned my father was in kidney failure again and needed IV antibiotics daily. Our new team performed a procedure to rebuild his infected bones and anatomically correct his foot. Everything adds up, and we have a long road ahead of us. Anything to help my parents with these growing medical bills would be incredibly appreciated. Once he can be on his feet again (pun intended), I hope that he can move forward in his life with improved quality and not be burdened by thousands and thousands in debt.
