Dear Friends and Family,
Thursday , August 23rd was a sad and painful day for Megan Bultema and her two daughters Maggie and Josey. Due to a 'domestic disturbance,' the girl's father Tim was removed from the home by the police and escorted to jail.
For years Megan has struggled to provide for her girls and support Tim through his battle with alcoholism. Coping with the effects of Tim's disease has left Megan's financial situation on the brink of disaster and now, with Tim removed from the home they stand only two weeks away from losing it. The last thing the girls need at this point is to be uprooted from their home. Both girls go to North Park Montessori. Maggie is 10 and in 5th grade. Josey is 8 and in 3rd grade. They have lived in the house their entire life.
Megan is also working with a social worker and other financial institutions to put herself back on track and rebuild her finances, as well as make sure her girls have everything they need to deal with the trauma they saw. It will be a long, and hard road for her and her girls to heal. If you can find it in your heart to help Megan and her girls please donate to her needs and share this page.
Thank you!
