POPA

I am reaching out to raise money for a wonderful mother and wife, who through no fault of her own, was stricken with a terrible illness that is known as a spinal stroke .  Her name is Lori Popa and she is the wife of my friend and coworker Pete Popa. Pete and Lori have been married for 28 years and have raised a son together. Pete has worked hard at the same company for 23 years and has always prided himself on living an honest life. As a result of the stroke, Lori is now paralyzed from the waist down.  Pete and Lori are not only facing the extensive expense of her current hospitalization, but face the ongoing expenses of rehab and home modifications. Lori will require daily assistance for all of her self care needs. She is still in the hospital but running out of insurance coverage. Together, they are trying to figure out the next steps in this tough journey together.  I am asking for help to pay her medical expenses and to help with her everyday care. These are good, hardworking friends. My hope is to allow them some light in this time of incredible need.
