Dinner With Andrew
Donation protected
My son Andrew was 19 years old when he choked on a gummy candy and did not survive. He had been working at Domino's Pizza at the time, and they wanted to do something to honor his memory. Choosing to do a food drive was such a great idea since few people liked to eat more than Andrew. "Dinner With Andrew" started just a few months after his death on 01/01/01. This year will be the 23rd time that food and/or money has been collected in July. Since the pandemic, we have switched from collecting and sorting food to taking donations for food gift cards.
These cards go to families in extreme need along with The Jefferson Area Food Bank, The Salvation Army, The Emergency Food Bank, The Ronald McDonald house, the ARC, and other places.. If we collect enough, there are other places we like to include. Mostly these are places that care for animals. PLEASE share this with everyone you know. The families look forward to this help all year. Thank you so much for helping honor my wonderful son's memory.
