Help Kristian Defy the Odds Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
From working in the hospitality arena to being a part of the Own The Chaos community, Kristian has become like family to many people. Those of you who know him, know him as the forever optimist always ready to crack a joke, keep the mood light and always keeping his head held high. He is a great mentor and friend and always ready to help anyone he can. It's our turn to give back to him.
In January 2022, Kristian was diagnosed with Stage 4 Brain Cancer (Glioblastoma). We are confident in the medical team (Duke) and treatment plan (Johns Hopkins) and know he is getting the best care possible. However, as with most Americans, treatment is not cheap, even with insurance. And due to the recent aggressive progression of the cancer, Kristian is no longer working with no source of income.
The doctors have told Kristian there is a high probability he will not live to see next summer. Due to this, we setup this fund to raise money for not only medical expenses, but also living expenses and to help him check things off of his bucket list that he'd like to do while undergoing treatment.
If you'd like to specify what your donation goes to, you may post it in the comments. Here are some suggestions and a few of the many ways Kristian will employ your generosity.
- Medical Expenses: Doctor visits and treatment costs
- Travel & Transportation: Uber rides and flights
- Bucket List: Trips, simple pleasures and live-life experiences
- Mack & Me: Daddy-daughter memorable activities surrounding travel and sporting events
If you would like to show your love and support, any donation would be appreciated, no matter the size. And please spread the word!
Love Is The Treatment has become the mantra for Kristian's journey. LiTT also happens to be a treatment that Kristian received early in his diagnosis. Join Team L.I.T.T. and
