Our missing puzzle piece

Hello our names are Gemma & Danni and firstly we would like to thank you for taking the time to read our story.

Gemma and I have been together for approximately 5 years and just recently proudly celebrated our first year of marriage together. They say the first year is the hardest and we are embracing the challenges and growing stronger together. During our first year we have tried to conceive a child through private healthcare because as a lesbian couple we are unable to access funding through the NHS, until we have six failed attempts. We were blessed by the generosity of our family and friends who gave us monetary gifts for our wedding, to enable us to fit the missing piece to our lives, a precious baby. Gemma and I have now experienced two failed attempts at fertility, one attempt that was gifted from our loved ones and another that we have worked tirelessly to fund.

Despite our deep sadness we are desperate to keep trying and can not give up on our dream of having our own family.

We have gone through every test conceivable and know that the issue is not organic or medical.

We appreciate the current economic climate and so many social issues that are far more important than ours, and so we apologise in advance if we cause offence. Nevertheless in our desperation we humbly request that if there is any person out there who might possibly want to support us in our journey, please donate to our go fund me page, a penny or a pound takes us one step closer to fulfilling our dream.
