Hello! This fundraiser is to help support
Shivshakti Dham Devi Mandir, Dasna in Ghaziabad, India. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help fund the construction of the Temple. This is an ancient devi mandir and is from the Mahabharat era in which the 5 Pandav took shelter for some time; since then, the temple structure has become very old. God Parshuram placed a Shivling and it is still present in the Temple. A special feature of the idol of Goddess Chandi installed in this temple is that it is made of Kasauti stone.
According to Mahant Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati of the temple, according to what is known at this time, there are only four idols of the mother (Devi) made of Kasauti stone in the world, out of which three idols are in the temples of India while the fourth idol is currently located in Pakistan.
There is an idol of Hinlajdevi located in Pakistan which is made of Kasauti stone. And among those in the temples of India, one is this statue, while the second statue is the statue of Dakshineswarkali Mata of Calcutta and the third is the statue of Kamakhya Devi Shaktipeeth in Guwahati, Assam Pradesh which is made of Kasauti stone.
We hope to fix the Temple's interior and exterior and provide a shelter for people visiting. Thank you for any contributions!
