After the funeral, a Horse and Carriage will carry the casket of little Jermaine Woodward past the family home on Bostwick Avenue, then pass by PS#14 and PS15.
Jermaine Woodward Jr. was a typical little boy who loved Football, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball and Martial Arts. He was the only son to Jermaine Woodward Sr, a part time Boiler Operator at Henry Snyder High School in Jersey City, previously PS # 15. Jermaine Sr. recently told his young son that he was preparing himself to be a firefighter one day.
Jermaine Jr's young life was tragically taken when a hit and run driver fatally struck the boy on Sunday June 28th, 2015.
Jermaine was a straight A student at P.S. 14 in Jersey City and just finished 2nd grade. He played football for the Jersey City Gators. Jermaine's football coach said "Jermaine was the team's star player".
Jermaine recently took part in the PLAY 60 CHARACTER CAMP at the Giants Practice Facility.
This fund has been created to take away some of the burden and pain caused by this senseless loss both financially and emotionally. NO parent should ever have to bury a child.
