Title: It could happen to any of us!

I'm a volunteer having the privilege of working with this individual. I've started this GoFundMe to help right a wrong.

On July 4th, when most people are celebrating our independence, a beloved member of our community, Karen K., became a victim of an unscrupulous scam operation. Under the guise of a “Microsoft” warning of account theft, the individual fell prey to a sophisticated scheme. Karen K., nearing retirement, was conned out of more than $10,000.

All of us have been recipients of these insidious messages. Thieves have increased their bag of tricks and so it becomes more difficult to separate fact from fiction. This was the case in this instance.

Karen, in her 70’s, can ill afford this loss, especially with employment ending shortly.

This GoFundMe page is set up to assist her in replacement of these lost funds. She has dedicated her life to serving the community and those less fortunate. At this time, we can come together to show her the same love and support which she has given to so many.
