Today, I reach out to you with both a sense of urgency and immense hope. Our journey over the last 11 years has been both challenging and profoundly rewarding. To date, we've rescued over 35,000 animals and currently care for at least 1,500 animals at our shelter at any given time. Our daily reality involves rescuing between 20 to 40 abused and wounded animals, a testament to the critical need for our work.

Our efforts have not only been about rescue but also about sparking a movement of compassion and care throughout Pakistan. Thanks to an active community of supporters and our vibrant social media presence, we've significantly raised awareness about animal welfare.

Our shelter, built piece by piece through sheer determination and your generous support, has become a beacon of hope in Pakistan. Yet, as we continue to combat the surge of violence against animals, we find ourselves at a critical juncture. Our current facility is at capacity, hindering our ability to rescue more animals in need. Adding to the urgency is a significant change in land use zoning, compelling us to relocate to a new property within the next 3 months. We see this move as not just a necessity but also an opportunity to realize a vision long-held by all of us at ACF: the preservation of a parcel of land as the first ever large-scale animal sanctuary in Pakistan.

This new sanctuary, planned with care and designed to be built with eco-friendly, sustainable designs, will be a first of its kind in Pakistan. It will not only significantly expand our capacity to rescue and rehabilitate animals but will also serve as an unprecedented space of compassion and healing. Our dream is to create a sanctuary that can accommodate thousands of animals, offering them the care and dignity they deserve.

The urgency to move and expand cannot be overstated. Our current inability to rescue more animals due to space constraints is a heart-wrenching challenge we face daily.
