Give Joy

Donation protected
Emily saw a doll with no hair in the American Girl catalog. This started a conversation about cancer and medicine including side effects such as loosing hair.
She decided to use her money she has saved and raise money to buy one of these dolls for a little girl with cancer. Emily has a doll that she named Angela. Angela has glasses just like she does. This helped her adjust to wearing glasses. She understands the comfort that comes with having a doll like her!

So we started talking with her about how she would like to do this. She said she wants to do extra jobs around our home, make a video, and maybe put a table up at a store. So she has been doing extra jobs and we are on the next step. She has saved quite a bit, but there is more to go.

While talking this whole plan over Emily has decided to name the doll Joy. So she can give Joy to another little girl.

Please help Emily give Joy!

P.S. Emily’s doll is a My Life doll from Walmart. She herself doesn’t even have an American Girl Doll!

Emily has also inquired about why there is not a boy doll with no hair. We have called and requested this be changed.

All funds raised will go towards a doll (maybe 2) to be donated to a girl(s) who has lost her hair due to medical treatment. We would also like to try to get a hospital gown for the doll too.

Thank you you for your support. This will mean so much to Emily and the little girl who receives the doll.
