Supporting my Mom through her cancer journey

Hi! My name is Lily, I’m the kid with teeth missing in the photo, next to my incredible mother. My mother, like all, is my ultimate hero, inspiration, and causation for everything I do. She is the embodiment of kindness, patience, love, and strength. I cannot begin to verbalize how much my mom has gone to lengths for me, and I can only hope in my lifetime to begin to pay that back.

Recently, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She is an educator working with children who have learning differences, so her voice is of the utmost importance. Her cancer has presented itself on her epiglottis, making it increasingly difficult and painful to speak, eat, etc. In order to fight her journey, a leave from work is necessary. This is where I come in. I’m hoping to raise money to support my family through this time in medical bills, but also to show her how loved she is, and how much the love and kindness she spreads every day impacts those around her.
